Concrete Experience

November 12, 2025, marked a significant day. The Career Sharing event hosted by the 4th Year Bachelor of Arts in History. Even before the main program began, the day was packed with activity. As a member of the decoration team, we started bright and early at 8:30 AM at the venue, H Building IceBox. We spent the morning preparing the venue, diligently arranging the tables and chairs, inflating balloons, and ensuring the area was clean before the guests arrived.

The event itself ran from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. We were honored to host three distinguished alumni speakers: Ma’am Jai, Ma’am Luym, and Sir Momo. It was an undeniably inspiring afternoon, hearing their unique and unforgettable stories. They openly shared the winding paths that led their career dreams to become reality. Throughout the discussion, we, as students, shared a collective sense of resonance, particularly when they touched upon their individual experiences, struggles, challenges, and difficulties, the silent battles that are the same to our own journeys of growth.

Reflective Observation

I felt an immediate and deep connection to the speakers' narratives. There was a genuine, shared vulnerability in the room, making the conversation feel less like a lecture and more like a supportive discussion among peers. Their candor about growth and development provided a much-needed perspective on the realities of professional life. I noticed that despite different career fields, their underlying struggles with doubt and perseverance were universal.

Throughout the afternoon, I was not feeling well because I have fever and tonsillitis. While I felt physically unwell, I made a conscious effort to stay engaged and fulfilled my duties with the decoration team and as a student. Despite the physical discomfort, the intellectual and emotional enjoyment of the discussion was undeniable. I was proud that I fully cooperated and participated despite my poor health, proving that my commitment to the event despite having a fever makes me happy even though I am not feeling well.

Abstract Conceptualization

The core lesson I drew from the event is centered on passion and persistence. The speakers demonstrated that achieving one's aspirations is not bound by a timeline, it is never too late to chase your dreams. This reinforced the idea that human potential is limitless, as long as we live and exist, the concept of "impossible" does not truly apply.

The key to unlocking this potential lies in a fundamental principle, success and fulfillment are directly proportional to dedication and passion. The more you are dedicated, committed, and truly passionate about your chosen path, the more you will naturally grow and develop within that field. Loving the process, not just the outcome, is the most powerful engine for professional and personal advancement.

Active Experimentation

Embrace My "Silent Battle" with Passion. I will choose academic projects and career exploration opportunities that genuinely align with my personal passions, knowing that this dedication is the catalyst for genuine growth, as exemplified by the speakers.

Prioritize Sustainable Commitment. I will practice a more balanced approach to work and health. While I successfully pushed through my sickness for this event, I recognize the importance of prioritizing my physical well-being to ensure sustained commitment and focus for future academic and professional endeavors.

Start Experimenting Now. I will actively seek out informational interviews or short internships related to potential post-graduation fields, applying the "no limitation" mindset to explore roles I might have previously deemed unattainable.
