As soon as the museum opened, we prepared the logbook and sheet to record every visitor accurately. Throughout the day, groups of students visited for class requirements, research, and casual viewing. We guided them through the sign-in process, answered simple inquiries, and made sure that each entry was complete and organized. When there were no students arriving, we shifted our attention to encoding previous records to update the museum’s visitor database. We double-checked names, time stamps, and purposes of visit to ensure accuracy. Because of this, we focused more on our internal tasks as interns. We spent most of the morning editing pubmats for the museum’s social media platforms, refining layouts, adjusting colors, and making sure that the designs aligned with the museum’s branding. We also worked on writing and polishing captions to accompany the posts, ensuring the tone stayed educational, approachable, and engaging. In the afternoon, we continued encoding files and updating digital records that will be used for future exhibitions and documentation.
